Travel with Your Baby, Toddler, or Preschooler: Here’s How!

A pre-dinner walk in Varadero, Cuba…

If you think travel with your baby, toddler, or young child is going to be a piece of cake, you’ll be disappointed. Think you can still laze on the beach and linger over leisurely meals?

You’ll be disappointed.

Hoping for a break from your everyday routine and a chance to spend some real quality time together as a family? You’re in luck!

Helping you travel with your baby

With Have Baby Will Travel I created what I hoped to find when I was researching the heck out of traveling with baby. Since our first trip was Cuba, I was really afraid of forgetting something important and not being able to find it there.

So I developed an extensive packing list (and then an extensive carry-on list) to help keep myself (and now hopefully you) organized.

Then I wrote the 5 Ts To Happy Travel With Your Tots, and was so happy to share it on Steven & Chris (rip). And then I wrote The 5Rs For Rosy Road Trips (clearly I have an issue with alliteration!) just in case you were thinking of taking off by road instead of by air.

But wait, there’s more!

Does the thought of all you’ll need to do to feed your baby while you’re away make your head swim?  Please check out Feeding Your Baby on Holiday. Overwhelmed by the thought of airport security? I here are 3Ps to Passing Security with Babies & Young Children (there’s that illiteration again!)

Have Baby Will Travel turns 17 this year. Almost an adult! The baby who inspired this site already is. As our lives expand and evolve, I’m delighted I can still help families plan trips and travel with their babies, toddlers, and young children.

  1. What a great list of resources. I look forward to reading your articles and will share this list with my fellow mom’s. Traveling with a new baby can be stressfull but its important for new parents to know that it can be done.
