Baby Bjorn Travel Cot

Many will argue that co-sleeping is the easiest bet for traveling with tots, and if co-sleeping works for you, they’re right.  However, co-sleeping for us always worked out more like co-getting-kicked-in-the-face-and-want-to-chat-in-the-middle-of-the-night-so-therefore-not-sleeping.  When traveling, sometimes you luck out with a King-sized bed that makes for a bit more room, but sometimes you end up with a double that sags to the floor and is just barely a safe sleeping environment for an adult, never mind an infant.

After our first less-than-successful experience with a hotel crib, we’ve brought our old hand-me-down playpen with us just in case.  More often than not, we haven’t had to use it.  But when we did, I was grateful to have a clean, comfortable, and safe place for our daughter to sleep.
